This free virtual workshop is open to all members of the public, whether filing a small claims court action or defending against a small claims court action. At the workshop, volunteer lawyers and mediators will explain the small claims court process from beginning to end, and discuss alternative ways to settle your dispute.
6:00 — 7:00 p.m.: Small Claims Court Workshop
Workshop presentation will be conducted remotely via Zoom. Registration required.
7:00 — 9:00 p.m.: One-on_one Consultation
One-on-One assistance with volunteers who will be available to answer questions and provide legal information only. Attendance at the Small Claims Workshop is required before receiving One-on-One assistance.
Registration is limited to the first 25 individuals.
