How Does SmartLaw Work?
Individuals and businesses can find a qualified lawyer through SmartLaw. This can be done online or by phone. Phone referrals are available in English, Spanish, and Chinese. After getting some basic information about the client and case, SmartLaw will attempt to refer that client to a lawyer that is qualified to handle the case. Clients we are able to refer will receive a free consultation, up to 20 minutes, with the referred lawyer.
After receiving a referral, a SmartLaw representative will contact the client from time to time either by phone or mail for quality control purposes or to get basic information about the case.
Through SmartLaw, the public can access information pieces on common legal issues. These information pieces cover an diverse array of legal issues. You can find that information here.
All SmartLaw lawyers charge fees and do not provide free, pro bono legal services. Every SmartLaw lawyer has proven that he or she is qualified in a particular area of law practice and has met many qualifications standards. Here, SmartLaw can refer clients to a lawyer in just about every area of law practice and in many different language and location requirements.
